I lead by example and very comfortable getting my hands dirty. I have earned the trust of every product or technology team I have worked with from the bottom up. There is nothing I would ask my team to do that I wouldn't do myself.

Leadership without authority

As a product leader you have to be good at influencing people. In many cases you do not have the power to hire, fire or reward other teams and it takes a certain skill set to influence and motivate other teams to deliver on their parts for you. I am good with setting the vision and helping other teams understand how they fit into that.
